Looking forward to the Parenting Programme being run by the Dry Arch Children’s Centre at the school here in Foreglen over the month of March. Four one hour free sessions for parents of children aged 2-10 years old. Come along for some ideas, a cup of tea and a bun! They run from 9.45am - 10.45am.
Monday 2nd March - Preparing healthy meals and snacks. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner including the importance of family meal times and sitting together.
Monday 9th March - Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive mental health of children and young people (including physical health).
Monday 23rd March - Parenting Role – Setting boundaries, routines and early bedtimes.
Monday 30th March - Parent wellbeing and importance of positive mental health and strategies for adults.
